Artist: Mudvayne
Album: Mudvayne
Release Date: OUT NOW
The dukes of head banging metal are back, and this time their music comes straight from their roots. Mudvayne’s self titled 5th studio album came in on the Billboard’s Rock Charts at #10, while their single came in at #1 on the Hot Active Rock Songs. This is a turning point for many Mudvayne fans; the band has truly matured.
Those of you haven’t gotten the album will be pleased to see the packaging options available. Courtesy of amazing artist Paul Booth, Mudvayne fans can purchase “in three different formats — a standard jewel case edition, a deluxe version packaged with a black light and a super deluxe edition that features a larger black light, a special edition blacklight-reactive poster and more (wikipedia).” So if you’re like me and love a little mood lighting, these treats will be much appreciated.
The reviews of this album have been resoundingly positive. Music is an ever evolving cyclone, and Metal is no different. As a Metal Band, many of the new albums songs are ment for the live stage, as the recording booth can be so restrictive to a true Metal Head’s capability. I’m more than amped to check out these guys out live in the coming year.
