Artist: Tim Barry

Album: 28th & Stonewall

Release Date: January 26th, 2010

Tim Barry, the frontman for iconic southern punk/hardcore legends, Avail, is back with another solo album chcok full of folksy, bluesy, honest, acoustic goodness.

Tim's latest album, 28th & Stonewall, is his 3rd official full-length (if you don't count his 'demos' album), in less than 4 years. The interesting thing about Tim's music is that not only does he write it at warp speed but there's an undeniable progression and process of maturity from each album to the next.

In my humble opinion, the coolest thing about Tim's writing process is his starkly honest approach. He never feels the need to go too elaborate; he likes to keep things simple and thats the message he conveys in his music. from his own fears and shortcomings to something as simple as an audio walk through his hometown, there's zero pretention and zero assumption. Anyone who is involved i the music scene in the least can appreciate that.

if you're into folk, bluesand even a slight hint of twang then check out Tim Barry's 28th & Stonewall.
