If you haven't heard of it yet then you are definitely missing out. Etsy is one of the coolest websites yours truly has come across in some time and everyone needs to know about it.
Etsy is a shopping website with a catch: everything they sell is handmade. From tees and jackets to jewelry and art to toys, costumes, candles, kitchen ware, food and purses. Anything you can make by hand can be found at Etsy.
What makes it even more awesome, is the fact that anyone can sell their goods on Etsy. It works as a sort of online consignment - where every artist, clothier or what-have-you sells their stuff through Etsy and gives them a small cut of the sale. At the same time, sellers determine their own price, so cost varies from "too rich for my blood" to "what a steal!" You can literally spend hours scouring the annals of Etsy, so go pee, get a snack and a drink and brace yourself for some long-winded online shopping.
