Artist: Chuck Ragan
Venue: Rock Room
Date: June 25th   10:00pm

Coming straight out of Florida, the man who’s raspy voice is too big for just one musical enterprise will be visiting the Rock Room on Thursday, June 25th. We’re talking about Chuck Ragan, folks and this is going to be a good one.
Most of you will recognize Chuck as one half of the vocal force behind Hot Water Music. As everyone is well aware, HWM is probably the most prominent post-hardcore band of all time. The band is best known for it’s fusion of hardcore, indie, folk and punk matched with the efforts of two lead vocalists; Chuck Ragan being one of them and Chris Wollard the other.
A few years back, HWM went on hiatus after years and years of relentless touring. Chuck took this opportunity to go solo, while the other three guys formed The Draft. HWM has since reformed and are still actively touring but between tours, Chuck still finds time to do his solo thing.

Chuck’s music is a mixture of folk, country and soul and is typically acoustic. It may not be a raging moshpit but it’s still one hell of a show. Check out Chuck.
