Free Stuff:

FREE STUFF!!!

When you give out free stuff on the streets - it’s all about perceived value. That’s how much the person who receives the free stuff believes it is worth. You can make the items you give out more valuable by following these four steps:

Scarcity - make the item seem one of kind. Don’t give everybody a t-shirt, give one or two people a t-shirt, then those two people will believe it is more valuable. Limit how much you give away.

Investment - make them earn it. Have people do things like collect emails, bring their friends to you, tell you tobacco industry information, whatever you can think of. The more they do to get the free item, the more they believe its worth.

Quality - treat the item like its worth a lot. Don’t pull a crumpled shirt out of the bottom of your backpack, make it look like its worth a lot and people will believe its worth a lot.

Social Value - if cool people wear XPOZ clothing or backpacks, then everyone will want them. Give free stuff to the coolest people you can find, then more people will want to know about XPOZ.
