Get The Word Out : When you go to an XPOZ event, your mission is to talk to as many people as you can. You may be talking about an upcoming event like a party, street team training, or other XPOZ branded events; or you may be sharing facts about the tobacco industry or smoking. When you street marketing to people, there are five things you need to remember: 1: Introduce - before you start off with any messaging, tell them who you are, who you’re with, and why you are talking to them. Example: “Hi, I’m John from XPOZ, we’re on the streets exposing the truth about tobacco.” 2: Engage - Always ask questions, lots of them. Questions can help you learn more about the person so you can tailor the message to them. Also, the more questions you ask, the more they pay attention to you. Ask as much as you can! 3: Brand - Keep the XPOZ brand in mind the whole time. Make sure your voice, style, and personality show-off what XPOZ is about and who XPOZ is. This includes how you talk, where you street market, how you dress, and what you say. 4: Associate - When you present your main message, like your fact or upcoming event, associate it with something. By associating it with something that matters to that person they are more likely to remember it and share it with their friends. 5: Next - At the end of the message always give them a next, what can they do next. They can go to the website, go to an upcoming event, sign-up for the street team, or anything else. Always leave them with something they can do. |
