Health:
We all know tobacco kills people from cancers and emphysema. These are some of the facts people don’t know about really know about.

- A cigarette has around 500 chemicals BEFORE the reactions are started by lighting-up, and about 4500 afterward. Over forty-two of these are known to cause cancer.
- Teen smokers can show signs of early small airways disease and studies have shown that early signs of heart disease and stroke can be found in teens that smoke.
- Ammonia is used in rat poison and household cleaners, but it is also found in cigarettes. This chemical causes major irritation, eye damage and asthma. Big Tobacco puts ammonia in cigarettes so the smoker is forced to inhale more smoke and more nicotine.
