What originally started as 4 high school buddies melding their love for music and creative impulses into a sound has now evolved into a metal/hardcore force to be reckoned with.

Since their inception, Of The Audience has since picked up a second guitarist and is now making music with the rounded, full sound they always wanted. The 5 members (Cody, Andrew, Brian, Hayden & Brenden) are straight out of Vegas and despite having only been officially a band since March 2011; they have already cut one EP, Detour (2011) and have their second in the works. The band is currently fine-tuning the new release, Back Roads, in the studio. The EP features both new material and a few reworked songs that didn’t make it onto the first EP. The addition of a second guitar has the band excited about the new sound.

“While trying to make a name for ourselves in the beginning, adding our second guitarist Hayden has really opened new door for us. Fans can expect a great change compared to our old EP,” said the band, regarding their new recording.

For fans of The Ghost Inside, Gideon, No Bragging Rights and In Hearts Wake, Of The Audience has a certain polished rawness to their sound, intentional chaos if you will. Their sound is heavy and hits hard but still maintains enough melody and structure as to not blur itself into noise. Melodic hardcore Vegas style right here.
